Peugeot going to Thailand
It is being reported today that Peugeot’s new distributor is about to launch the Peugeot brand in Thailand. This is due to decreased sales figures as yet another van manufacturer feels the pinch of the credit crunch. The new project will see a new assembly plant built as well as injecting finances into marketing and sales. The company behind this new direction is the Yontrakit group who are the official distributor of France’s Citroen and Peugeot used vans as well as Volkswagen vans from Germany.
Follow up:
Hopefully this new production will see even more new vans be put to the test as Peugeot looks to further expand its commercial vehicles centre also. With an already impressive line of vans to its production line such as the Expert, Bipper, Partner and Boxer vans – maybe now we will see further models added to the range. A new cash injection is always welcomed by any organisation and Peugeot vans are no different! Roll on the year 2009.
