Peugeot going to Thailand

It is being reported today that Peugeot’s new distributor is about to launch the Peugeot brand in Thailand. This is due to decreased sales figures as yet another van manufacturer feels the pinch of the credit crunch. The new project will see a new assembly plant built as well as injecting finances into marketing and sales. The company behind this new direction is the Yontrakit group who are the official distributor of France’s Citroen and used Peugeot vans as well as Volkswagen vans from Germany.
